Some nice refreshing ideas for a hot summers's day..

Phew - it certainly is hot right now..
I am so enjoying these few days- especially as we have been told Friday will be bringing us rain and grey skies again here in the UK. Ah-well!
Sunshine and rain, we all need both..So grateful my crocosmia's are making the most of it..
..here they all are- what I am looking at right outside my window.. so cheerful!

With all this hot weather I thought you might like this nice and refreshing idea which I found.
What about a cooling drink like this Green Tea and Mint Tonic from Dr Oz.

Makes me feel refreshed just looking at it !.
Here's the recipe:
In a large pitcher, combine:
8 cups of brewed green tea
1 tangerine, sliced
A handful of mint leaves
Stir this delicious concoction up at night so all the flavors fuse together. Drink 1 pitcher daily for maximum metabolism-boosting results.

Some more refreshing ideas are right here on The Kitchn's site..

Enjoy your lovely summer..

XOXO
