Spring has sprung.. of appleblossoms and speedwell..

It may still be too chilly but the trees and the plants have decided it's definitely Spring.....so we now have all the apple-blossoms opening with their deep dark pink...I love this pink, don't you ??.....

..and the speedwell with it's lovely shade of pale blue is everywhere..

Between resting with my throat infection I have tried to let my cat rascals run around a bit outside....

or they will go stir crazy..

The dogs spent quite a bit of time with me on the bed while I am working my way through some old detective novels which is super cosy...

And Maud has taken a fancy to the picture of Harris, our previous dog...

I think Harris would have been secretly quite flattered by Maud, she's such a cutie.

It's back to the sick bay for me as I have just come back from the doc with a damaged cornea which he says " will heal very quickly" ..drat!

So I'd better pop back to bed and try reading the newspaper with one eye!

Have a great week!!
XOXO

Dearest Bea,

Sad to read about your health issues. But it is good that you got to enjoy the apple blossoms and other beauties in your precious garden. The felines and canines certainly enjoyed to roam in paradise. Isn't it sweet how our pets can 'study' photos and seem to feel our sentiments...
Received your Royal Mail parcel and will email you separately.
Tight hugs and well wishes to you with lots of love,
Mariette

Bless your heart - a damaged cornea sounds painful. I love the picture of your dog staring at the other dog's picture. I wonder what is running through her mind....

Awwww, those pics of your fur babies are too cute. At least you have good company during your healing process. Get well soon. :)

Isn't reading in bed with a dog just the best thing ever? Feel better soon!

Your little "family friends" are just darling. It makes me miss a kitty so much. I hope you heal quickly and can really enjoy the summer- xo Diana
