Barge -art was never much on my list of favourites, till I saw this cheerful boat this morning on my walk.
Kerpow! It hits you right in the eye!
How cheerful is that!
What a way to travel around the world- away from all the worries and the fears...
The people in canal boats are always super friendly and relaxed.......and the canals are so idyllic..
and more idyllic..
Far away from the madding crowds..( who are looting, and throwing bricks right now ......) Crikey!
This chap and his wife have their own little world here..so sweet....
So : red- blue- and yellow! Great colour combination! Keep it simple and keep it cheerful!!

Dearest Bea,
What a joyful barge indeed. That changes even a dreary, rainy day into something cheery.
You are so right about the peace and quietness on the canals, far away from the looting and vandalism...
Love to you,
Mariette
