Favourite table of the year- and a thank you to my fellow bloggers

I love blogging and blogg-peeking as much as any blogger out there, and was spending a bit of time "doing a bit of research"-well,  I was supposed to finish a project (almost there!  but one needs a break  -right ?)  when I came across this marvellous table setting.
Just about my favourite table setting of the year- love the colours !!!
This lush, peony-pink setting was created by Eddie Ross ( of whom I had never heard before- but what does that say-!! )  for A Date with a Plate, benefiting the Noreen O'Neill Foundation for Melanoma Research .

Just makes you want to put on your best frock and party !!I would love to go to a dinner where the table was set this way !!

I also love his before and afters- have a look here  to see what he did to make this - a couple of crummy side tables ( I have a couple of those just like that in my attic ! )
by doing this
 into this.Lovely, don't you think !!

Looking back on the last few months, I also wanted to thank the ladies and their blogs that referred most of my readers to me and have helped to make my blog grow.
Thank you , Susan from  Between Naps on the porch , Marty from A stroll thru life  , Cindy from My Romantic Home , "The Nester " from The Nester  ,  and Roeschel from The DIY Showoff .

I will leave you with a pic I took today which made me smile- and promise to be back with my finished project soon .

The first picture of Tilda and Maud on the sofa together. They seem to be doing allright with cosying up , it's going better day by day.More about them you can read here
See you soon !

Dearest Bea,

Lovely table setting and since I love peonies, even more so! The white side tables look a bit bluish white on the top... No glass on the smaller ones I think that could create that hue.
Never mind; love your pets getting along so well! That is precious.

Your furbabies are the cutest!

I love Eddie Ross' style too and that is one gorgeous tablesetting (as usual).

And what a pleasant SWEET surprise to see my name included in your post. Thank you for the shout out.

Now, can't wait to see what you're up to! ;)
